Practically since the inception of this blog, we have tried to share with you about our pretty much perpetual need for personnel, especially on-field but also to serve from home. We have made lists of these needs and tried to stress the importance of them on numerous occasions.

For the past several months, we’ve been presenting some financial needs as an appeal to you, the reader. As we come to the end of this year, we know that many of you, particularly in the United States, are actually looking for charities to which you can donate, which might also assist you with your taxes. I would simply like to remind you that documentation for tax-deductible giving is available to you, if you would like to take advantage of these last 2-3 weeks of 2021 to make some last-minute donations.

It is good to be back with you after the hiatus in August-September. I enjoyed finishing up our six-part series in late July. For this month’s instalment of Sprachspielen and perhaps a few upcoming instalments, I’d like to get back to some basics with looking at a word that is really central to understanding what it is God has called us to do, how to do it, and with whom.

It is good to be back with you after the hiatus in August-September. I enjoyed finishing up our six-part series in late July on what we call our “Six-fold Incarnational Strategy” or 6fis. Those principles are really foundational to how we do our work on the ground and on a day-to-day basis. I hope that the examination of those six principles was helpful to you in understanding who we are and why we do what we do in the way that we do it. As I’m beginning this editorial again after the break, I’ve decided to ease us back in with a bit of an oddity, when compared with other examples of this editorial over the past few months.
